Fourniata is a fortified settlement of Pirgos Dirou. It is located 7.5 km from Areopolis and 4 km from Diros Cave and the neighbouring beaches. You will see the building complex of chieftain Sklavounakos, with an impressive tower, the family chapel and a cistern, known as Petrolakos. In the centre of Fourniata, one can visit the church of St. Nicolas and, at a close distance, the church of St. John. Right opposite to the church of St. Nicolas, you will see Olea Stone House.
